I just don't get it, why should she be 18??? With her circumstances, lifestyle and mindset she could easily be 20+?
At least she is 18. That is already high number for a FL in romance manga. They still often are 16 years or even younger.
I often imagine in these kinda stories FL as older, because usually age isn't that big of a plot point, unless it's some school story.
You can't set up grooming as easily with 20+ year old FL's.
"Hello, I'm 12 years older than you and socially above you. Let me ignore your refusal repeatedly then badger you into letting me bite you to mark you as mine so I can groom you into accepting me."
