The Stubborn Crown Prince, I Will Enjoy My Freedom

I honestly hope they dont make her and the ML get together, hes honestly such a bad character who doesnt understand anything like his IQ is just not there. I really do hope another character thats far better scoops in and takes care of her rather than this idiot prince.

He's not stubborn; he's a complete idiot who doesn't understand his fiancée. It seems he still has feelings for her, based on the context, but he's treating her rudely, putting her down, and refusing to spend time with her. I hope she can have some freedom before being forced to be with him due to the plot, which will likely lead to them ending up together. I also hope he shows some growth or development in his character.

I'm a sucker for misunderstanding tropes, but there's a big difference between a misunderstanding and... THIS. Like, I'll still read it but just because I want to know what the misunderstanding is. With just the first three chapters it feels pretty obvious that the prince doesn't like the FL, and it's only on the last two pages of chapter 3 that we see him smiling when he says he loves her... TO HIS ATTENDANT! Not her, his male attendant. Because before this he had one panel where he was being vague about "I hope this gesture shows you how I feel," when he just expressed that his father would be mad if he didn't prepare so many gifts.

And he's hanging out with a woman who is very clearly flirting with him and openly insulting FL in front of him, so I have no idea what the misunderstanding is. It doesn't seem like he has brothers or enemies he needs to trick, he definitely seems overworked but not to the point of being so unavailable that they can't even talk, and it doesn't feel like that one story where ML was sad that he put the FL through so much with princess training that he decided to distance himself for her.

Also Chapter 1 literally opens with a magic mirror that shows your love for someone. Unless that mirror is broken, the mirror showed that they weren't in love. Now maybe she's unconsciously not in love with him but that doesn't seem to make sense because he's all she talks and thinks about, and if he loves her back then the mirror should glow. Also with how much emphasis is put on this mirror, to the point where they've tried over 100 times to make it glow, it seems the kingdom prioritizes romantic relationships over purely strategical alliances. So it doesn't seem like loveless marriages are normal in their culture and I hope if the author realizes this, they explore it a bit more and show us how maybe the prince is seen as the failure in this relationship.

That magic mirror would probably glow real bright if princehole stood in front of it on his own.

I wish she was more direct in calling him out for clearly having a thing with the Princess (as evidenced by...literally everything he's done in FL's presence). He seems to want to marry FL, but I genuinely don't by that he has feelings for her, even if he thinks he does.

Also we now see that they have fundamentally different values, and probably wouldn't work well together.

This prince is so shitty. It’s beyond being awkward. He’s insensitive, rude, dismissive, and not very charming. The princess from another country can have him.

Speaking like someone who thinks he's never wrong, so everyone else must be the ones who are wrong.

Feel bad for the attendant. He seems to be the only one with perception. I hope he gets paid well.

While I'm not a fan of the pressure from the King, he can't even fathom how his own inabilities are causing this situation. Also. I still hate that princess. She's such an entitled jfhdks. For someone who preaches the importance of being poised, she sure gossips a whole lot.

Why is he even upset!?! He blatantly did not want to marry her (as evidenced by him refusing to make even the slightest effort to connect with her, lying about his availability, and dating another woman instead). I wish she'd gone further and outright called out the affair.
