Is the king stupid? His one goal in talking to Suaris was to convince her to convince her husband to never leave the kingdom...which he didn't even bring up. He just said the kingdom can't afford to lose him and he'll start spending time with 16 year old princess. He didn't ask Suaris to do any convincing. So I ask again, is the king stupid?
