I've read stories where they NEVER have this conversation, so I'm glad they did. It's just so sticky-sweet. My teeth rotted reading this. On a completely different note, she's depicted wearing a french hood, but that's not...it's not a headband, for goodness sakes, I don't know why artists insist on depicting it as one. It's basically supposed to hold the bag in place. The bag with all your hair. Because, you know, people used to cover their hair to protect it.

1st chapter. Your typical "to shy/to eager, didnt want to embarrass myself" trope of sorts. Not that annoying, but definitely rolled my eyes at least twice.
