First, if kingdoms are destroyed when they don't have a saint, how did this kingdom last 80 years without one before FL showed up?
Second, this prince really didn't think through his plan at all, did he? His entire plan hinged on this new saint, but he didn't verify her personality or her actual saint power? Obviously its a bunch of corruption, but shouldn't they have at least made sure she could, you know, actually cast a barrier?
