FL, consider this. What possible reason would this man, who you have had no prior connections with, tell you that your husband is having an affair? Its obvious he's trying to sow discord, which makes his information questionable.
Also, despite him saying the Emperor doesn't have enough to judge them as enemies...pretty sure he does though? Girl tried to assault him, so there is zero reason she shouldn't be dealt with, while the Emperor will certainly not see the dude as an ally after the whole telling FL the Emperor is a cheater thing.
