With update 15 this manga died for me. Why the whole shit with kir?! It isn't even really adding any drama. It's just to add more misery for a bigger outcome. But that outcome will never be worth because their motivation and actions are completely irrational and dumb. Just bad
i decided to buy the latest chapter, just to look to see if the youngest sister and Kir were together yet and it seems poor Kir is being put through absolute hell by the scotts. I feel so bad for him
the first part about the oldest sister went to fast but was great. Then they moved onto the younger sisters part of the story. Gets ridiculous, in a bad way, and became unenjoyable. Dropped at chapter 16.
I also dropped at the younger sister’s story, since there was no point. Why is someone in their mid 20s trying to compete with a 16 year old? 🙃 Not sure why they had this arc.
Man, the ladies of this family just have no luck with fiancees.
This feels like one entire completed story from an Anthology collection. Is the story not done now?
Damn. Through chapter 4 felt like it could have just ended there. But it continues and I'm actually dropping her, because it was short and sweet, perfect. I'd rather not ruin it with drawn out drama. ;;
Maybe it's because the chapters take forever to be free, but it feels like the main family keeps stalling in taking concrete actions. I'm at chapter 31: Alan arrived at the Scott's family estate, demanded that Kir's brother go back home, Kir's brother refuses, Alan says ok kinda, then goes to search for Kir, who disappeared. That's basically all that Alan does.
It's pretty frustrating that even with the royal family backing them, the Redwhatevertheirfamilynameis doesn't do anything really proactive against the Scotts after so many chapters, because yes maybe they are facing a Duke and a Magrave, but logically speaking, Royals ARE the rulers of the country and if you show up with the royal knights one shouldn't so easily threaten you or make you back up. It's like if the FBI are about to enter your house, but you refuse with a huff and a pout because you are a well-known and rich senator; you can't refuse their entrance and directive just because of your title and stuff. THEY WORK FOR THE GOUVERNEMENT; if they want you to stay away so they can investigate, you stay away.
To conclude my small rant, this story is just so very long, and the characters are so so unlikeable
Save your time and read only the first 4 chapters. The next chapters are filled with nonsense and drama for the sake of drama without any other purposes. I honestly wonder what the story is trying to do because everything that happened is just so ridiculous for no reason. Read if you want to see over-the-top characters making dumb dramatic decisions for ... who knows what for tbh
It's the most soap opera story ever and I got quite a lot of enjoyment from laughing at the amount of insane plot twists. Each chapter there is a new thing. Like we have a gigalo? THE GIGALO HAS A!?!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY ARE?!? It's obsurd and frankly, if I were to mention the plot twists it'd ruin the enjoyment lol.
It's honestly very enjoyable, but this is not a deep story whatsoever. It's made from pure amusement and shock factor. If you want to read it, don't expect any three dimensional characters, don't expect that the author has some grand plot scheme in mind, and certainly don't expect good writing lol. Just read while expecting real bad writing and read for the enjoyment.
Also chapters 1-3 were decent.
I sometimes forget just how scummy Mary is and then she surprises me and sinks lower
i'm quite enjoying this. The story actually tells the broken engagements of both sisters of the Redsam family. The eldest sister's problem is first, then there's a time skip and then it's the younger sister's turn to get her engagement broken off and find true love instead. It's also about some very sweet and deserved revenge which is done cleverly. can't wait to read more
EDIT: thought it was going to be a short story like the first sister, but the 2nd sister story is where it seems they're putting the actual meat of this manga, and i'm not enjoying it much at all
I like that the story went into the next sister instead of drawing out the older sister story for long extra chapters
With friends like that who needs enemies 😭😭😭
Anyone else get the feeling bro likes bros?
This is the most soap opera comic I've ever read, where there's a ridiculous turn of events every chapter for no reason
I’m more interested with the story of the first sister, but that went too fast. And now they’re dragging the story for the second sister, which is not that interesting. Dropped at chapter 15.
Bruh, Chris really want to humiliate his ex fiance
Father is banned from choosing fiances. Everyone he picks just wants to bang the same obviously trash bitch.
