Leaving a note to remind myself. Really disappointing when someone should be rightfully furious at the person who hurt them in a previous life but the resolve to hate them vanishes in just 2-3 panels with the VICTIM APOLOGIZING TO THEIR ABUSER. Granted ML isn't a physical abuser and his abuse was mostly caused through neglect and being tricked by others but still, FML has every right to be mad at him, he even understands that, but he's practically forgiven with just a few panels. They don't even have a discussion like some manga where they try to put the past behind them like it didn't happen or something. And even though he admits what he did was wrong I'm pretty certain he STILL didn't say one key word. SORRY!
Having read the first 16 chapters, I can only say that FL is very stupid. It feels like all the information that she’s hearing are not being analyzed in her brain and they’re just passing through it.

This story is unpalatable at best. The FL is an idiotic pick me and the ML has zero brain cells. I was expecting some good angst but it was a very disappointing read. The romance is bland, the angst feels forced, and the author somehow made the war (which was the cause of the entire thing) the most unimportant thing in this story.
