I really want to like this story but author went so far making the attendant dislike the FL it's not even funny
So this dude recognizes that her work is amazingly beneficial for the Empire, but he hates her because he'd rather the Empire suffer than have a Crown Princess help with governance. This guy just continues getting worse, and it's annoying that neither FL nor ML have noticed how blatantly antagonistic he is.
So his trap accidentally proved how competent FL is...and he's now upset by that too and thinks someone less competent is more deserving?
Why do they keep this guy around? He doesn't even really hide his insubordination.
Annulled engagement? Check. Talented yet meek female lead? Check. Perfect male lead who has never been in love before? Check. FML that throws herself into trouble and gets harassed by people until she's saved by the ML? Check. Check. Check. What I'd give for a female lead with a spine but those are too few in the sea of insecure female leads that always need to be saved.
I always find it hilarious in Contract Marriage stories when they worry about people finding out about the contract or people do find out and its a problem for some reason. My dudes, you are in a culture where 99% of the marriages are contract marriages.

This chapter massively damaged my opinion of FL. She was just a massive idiot in a very uninspiring way. She can't bring a bodyguard because the dangerous situation won't be authentic? She tries to suggest a problem solving session to her muggers? What an absolute moron.

I find it really funny that the ex's father just kind of...phased out of existence in that scene. He understood FL's value and wanted her managing the territory (even though he was clearly in on her not getting the credit), but just never said a word after the prince started talking, and stopped even being shown in the panels shortly after.
Would be better if both ML and FL yas different hairstyle, they look incredibly stupid
If you let this girl in, i would be highly dissapointed at you bowl cut guy. I haven't dissapointed yet, because understandable. If you let her in, what can she offer? Only fleeting moments and that won't help all unless she becomes a hoe not to mention she might evolve to a very dangerous biological weapon
