The Reincarnated Noble Girl Who Became The Notorious Viscountess
Grace, the Girl Reincarnated Into the Daughter of a Poor Viscount Family, Inherited Nothing but a Collapsing Land from Her Father. But with her intelligence and relentless effort, Grace managed to revive this dying territory, becoming a strong leader respected by everyone. Yet despite her success, her heart remained closed to love — especially after a painful betrayal that led to the unfair cancellation of her engagement. One day, while accompanying her younger sister, Jessica, to her debut at a noble’s ball, something completely unexpected happened… The famous Count, Lord Rockwell — known for his strength and striking good looks — approached her and asked for a dance, saying with a charming smile: “Yes, I am a knight… but what I truly desire is to become your prince.” Words Grace had never heard before… And caught between the hesitation of her heart and the warmth of those words, she found herself unconsciously placing her hand in his — thus beginning a new story, one that might lead her to a love she had never even dared to dream of.

Dense protagonists are found all throughout manga, but this story has a very special kind of dense protagonist. ML proposes to her and they engaged, but somehow she continues to think that she's nothing more than a business partner even while he corrects that she is his fiancee every single time she introduces herself otherwise.
I just can't follow her thought process. "He asked me to marry him" + "I have skills that would be helpful to him as the Lady of the family" + "He sent a maid to serve me" = "He's considering marrying this maid"
???
ayieeee
bruh was he negging her lmao
