Lilianne has her engagement to her childhood friend Prince Adrian of the Kingdom of Pertier broken off without warning. Cast out to a remote villa on the frontier, she meets Fernan — the Second Prince of the Yultis Empire. Despite the tragic events of her past (the loss of her real parents, mistreatment by her stepfamily, and lack of recognition for her talent in light magic), Fernan is struck by her and promises to “come back for her.” When they meet again months later at a welcoming party, Fernan publicly proposes to Lilianne in front of everyone — starting a new chapter filled with devotion, duty, and unexpected romance.

Mostly leaving a note for myself, but I'll have to agree with the other comments. I really like when a story about betrayal dips back into the current situation for the ones who betrayed the MC, and I don't see that happening here. Read up to chapter 5, skimmed until chapter 8, no hint of tension. No glimpse of the old kingdom getting worse or people realizing what they did was wrong. We had a hint that the sister MIGHT be a recurring antagonist trying to get in-between the ML and FL, and her plan? Say she felt sick and needed to be escorted to her bedroom by the ML, ONCE. And then she disappeared forever. As of Chapter 8 it looks like a monster attack is coming but I'm uninterested. I don't even think they've properly established that this is a world where monsters exist, they just suddenly do.
I’ve read up to chapter 5, and I can see this is mediocre at best. It feels like all the characters are lacking in personality. The plot line is very flat, it feels like the author don’t know how to build up tension in crucial moments.
If the herb experiments end up producing results and prove that healing properties can be imbued into living things...does that mean the people she heals have healing properties if eaten?
that's assuming the human she's testing it on already has healing properties when eaten (cause she is testing it on medicinal plants specifically) and I think she didn't think that far also maybe something in the plant can stock magic like maybe the cell membrane?
A height based society? Praise the All Mighty Tallest! What is this, Invader Zim?
Kudos to the villainess for being brave and spiteful enough to not even regret being caught committing treason, something that definitely means she's going to be executed (well, we'll see if they do something silly with the punishment).
Wut.
Noel. Just. Wut.
Passed up mid and went straight to half-assed. Trite. Boring. Characters are paper thin. If you told me AI wrote this, I would believe you. Bad fanfiction level of quality.
Pretty sure if the prince's fiance was potentially kidnapped the palace would go into full lockdown and they'd investigated everyone who had been in the palace around that time (which they should probably have records of).
The maids' communication was adorable.
Stressed? Read this its got no tension or stress, its almost bubbles and cotton candy.
Bro, slow down!!
