After My Fiancé Betrayed Me, the Ones I Admire Won’t Leave Me Alone!

For those like me who read the synopsis but hate mind control plots, that's not what this one is! As of chapter 6, the current understanding of the cursed bracelet is that its "charm" effect makes people exposed to it follow their own desires (its not just a bunch of guys hitting on a girl, it makes a dad spend more time with his daughter, and a swordsman spend even more time practicing his swordsmanship). The fiance already didn't care for FL and he was neglecting her, all the bracelet did was make him obvious about it and how willing he was to cheat on her.

Personally, so far I'm not a fan of the ML as a love interest. He's fun as a character...but he just acts like a little kid who loves frogs, snakes, and lizards, and doesn't think about how often he inconveniences others with his hobbies (even though he's been told repeatedly) or respect personal space. He's grabbed FL by the wrist twice in situations where its not appropriate at all. The first time they met he did it, and the second time he jumped out of a secret passage way, surprised her, and then tried to drag her away because he wanted to show her a tadpole. They have no relationship at the time, he's just acting like a weirdo.

Edit: Deeper into it now and FL has started to fall. The only reasons she gives in her own internal monologue is that ML asked her what she wanted one time, and is high status. This doesn't feel like love, this feels like FL is desperate and has no standards.

So the bracelet doesn't mind control, it removes emotional inhibitions and makes you do what you actually want to do. Which means the guy from the childhood friend couple that got back together actually did want to cheat on his friend/fiance. They say it was a "moment of weakness", but how often is he going to have more "moments of weakness."

Curious if we'll find out why FL's fiance flipped out so much trying to get FL to stay if he really didn't like FL. Is he just hoping to restore his honor somehow? Is he just ashamed?

Based on the other comments I was a little nervous (I don't like senseless comedy, especially not when it comes to being inconsiderate) but I was pleasantly surprised- the ML is a bit eccentric but he's also capable and can act normally and listen well too. The only time he's overtly senseless is when it comes to being around her ex, but that's fine because no one cares about that guy anyways, lol. At first I thought he was treating her like one of his pets, but it seems like that's not the case, and it's quite sweet. I've read up to chapter 14 so far and honestly the story could have ended there, so I wonder where they're going to take the story from here.

Nah poor girl Freya, I think she should choose Zane, personally. There’s been no real connection I just think that the dynamic would be fun.

I recomend to read this. Story about womans that decided to fight against their cheating fiances and helped each other emotionaly. At the end each girl found their real lovers.

Sad that child of ml and fl wasn't shown and only foreshadowed by soul of soon-to-be born baby of fl's friend.
