Wait if Vim was there why did he only act during this loop?
he seems no different than the king.
When you see a lion chasing a deer, are you going to get inbetween them to save the deer? It's not like you know the deer, in fact saving the deer will most likely end up with you getting seriously injured if not killed.
Same thing here, why would Vim act? He doesn't know her, why should he spend his time, resources and the potential enmity of the royal family of a kingdom to save a stranger?
My guess: Because she went completely feral and caught his attention. Remember, he has absolutely no obligation to her and honestly, helping her might annoy the King. So he only did it when it interested him.
I imagine he ordinarily wouldn't have gotten himself involved because to an external observer it all checks out - complete with evidence and so forth - and he never realized the extent of the torment until she was already dead, at which point he casts the magic to go back in time. I think it's also possible a war breaks out and her family loses their goddamn minds with fury, since not one of them believes the accusation even with proof. There's another catalyst for the time reversal if Daniel dies and/or they find proof the prince fabricated the evidence long after the fact, when it's ordinarily an irreversible execution and he has no real reason to hide it from his enemies.
Vim wouldn't realize that he'd already reversed time before, she wouldn't know what was going on after the loop begins, and Alphas is enjoying the entire thing, so obviously he wouldn't do anything to stop the loop. Alphas evidently can't be sated, so this continues until the loop resolves naturally -- on the fifth time, she breaks down entirely and loses her composure, so Vim intervenes.
In subsequent loops, the evidence came out and she basically failed to defend herself, so this actually would have made Vim less likely to intercede. The thing that arouses his suspicion here is that she knows things that she should not. She does act strangely and that draws his attention, but his attention is already drawn just from the dramatic event. The thing that actually makes him get off his ass is when she describes the specific jail she'll be in and accidentally implies that he's been steadily abusing her, rather than making predictions about what was going to happen.
He was always leaving party cause evidence seemed solid and he didn't wish to mess with royals of another kingdom. But in fifth loop MC's behavior made him interested in case.
Trust me bro.
Just let me cry alone. This is a hard chapter to get through. Some stories skip over the gritty stuff, but I'm glad we're not glossing over it so we can see how horrible it was.
I bought the chapters and they’re totally worth it. This story moved me to tears
I adore Charlotte's F it moment in the 1st chapter. Vim taking their "relationship" at Charlotte's pace while still, respectfully, making his interest clear makes me want to swoon...
Now I remember why I dropped this so many times... This series maybe has most painfully bad translation in this while webpages. But if you struggle through it and think that FL is 18 years old instead 15-16, this series is fine.
*whole webpage
Seems that translation affected my brain while reading it. xD
Dialogue between Daniel and Vim is switched
Zero common sense mc, watse of time
Garbage. ML, the King and EVERYONE else happily watched her be accused 4 fucking times in which she was murdered/executed and they did NOTHING to save her, and now because she's telling them to hurry up and kill her does anyone actually make a move to help her
Also what even is MC's backwards ass logic, She keeps going back to the moment of being accused, she KNOWS this and yet she immediately tells them to just kill her? Why? She knows she's just going to rewind a few minutes and do it all again.
The start of this plot is ass and makes not a lick of sense.
Also, ANYONE who grabs a woman's hair to sniff it upon first meeting is fucking CREEPY, try that shit in real life.
