Actually REALLY GOOD so far, read up to Chapter 6. Don't really think I have another story to compare this to, which I think is good because this is one of those stories that sets a precedent. This is one of those stories where when you say, "It's like X story," this is X story, this is the thing people compare other story to, this sets the bar.
To get to the actual story, it's good. FML and ML are both likable, the story is well paced, the character and designs all look and feel nice, and I feel like it's building up a fairly nice mystery. Would highly recommend.
Read to 9 and I can say the characters are really well developed and the actions they take and what say makes sense from their personalities. There’s no arbitrary suddenly the girl is helpless and useless trope which is nice
Whoa there! Where's that hand going when he catches her at the start of the chapter?
I mean, FL's talent to "read" people and to tell them what the want to hear is nice, but everything she does is just like a play without any depth. And sometimes it is so over the top it's simply ridiculous. ML has also no character so far, he simply plays along. All that they do is run around, tell some lies, justify their actions and exorcise demons. Even the last thing is more or less staged. It feels just shallow, from begining to the last chapter I read....
But as I said, that's only my personal opinion.
