The fastest I've ever seen an antagonist removed from the story holy moly
Update it's just a very fast paced story in general lol, kind of unsatisfying and all over the place unfortunately
Why would memories of past lives tell someone what would happen 1000 years after an event that has never happened before?
It really feels like she's just trying to kill the Hero and the Saintess. Either she's actually a witch, or she *is* the reincarnated Saintess but has gone crazy and just wants her power back.
This seems stupid given the other kingdom has openly insulted them and denounced FL. And what reason was given for summoning her? They claim to already have a saint, so they shouldn't need another one, right? The politics of the entire situation just don't make sense to me.
They have to be a fragment of the Demon Lord or something like that. Also a child having an old ladies voice is a hard juxtaposition
If 100% of non-summoned Saints in history have come from the same family, wouldn't everyone know that? This arc feels like it wasn't originally planned out, and now story elements are being retconned.
Also, why does she have an old lady voice? Your voice comes from vocal cords, not memories.
The political maneuverings don't really make sense to me in this chapter. A dragon is ravaging the kingdom of Pekeita, and the Saint was dispatched to do her job but died because she was so evil she lost her powers...and then the kingdom of Pekeita blames the kingdom who dispatched her for her death in their kingdom trying to solve their problem? For some reason the Crown Prince feels the need to take responsibility for something that was 100% the Saints fault in every conceivable way. So he declares he'll step down and create the opportunity for his evil brother to rise to power, but its ok because he'll recommend his non-evil brother. Then it turns out the kingdom of Pekeita is trying to unleash a terrible evil on itself because they think its the path to getting a Saint who will hate them and will teleport away if she ever gets the opportunity. So really they'll gain no benefit, but their kingdom will be ravaged by an undead dragon until they sacrifice 10,000 subjects, an act that would cause unbelievable instability in the country.
The main antagonist of the entire story, and the single driving force behind everything that's happened, just died unceremoniously off screen.
Insane speedrun pace
The saint's power awakened just like that and all of a sudden she knows how to use it?
Holy shit fr?!
HA! Deserved!
I feel like the other kingdoms entire claim is so obviously a ridiculous bald faced lie that the MCs kingdom just needs to denounce them in diplomatic channels, and it would destroy this other kingdom's reputation. The Saintess is literally empowered for the sake of fighting the Demon King, but they say this small child was supposed to be the one? And they only start claiming that after the threat is gone? Who wouldn't laugh at them?
Well, would you Lukat that
