This is one of those stories where everyone treats FL like shit, and she just suffers through it, then the people who have been making her miserable are confused why she's unhappy. Also the story's message about adultery seems to be "its bad, but also adulterers don't face any consequences for it".
This is also one of those romantic dramas that is waaay more drama than romance (personally, nothing in the story seems romantic to me, its just about people's unromantic love lives). When FL's fiance and sister have their affair, make it public, and then make it official (and FL's dad tells her she should be happy for her sister), ML isn't exactly prince charming riding in to save her.

ML lies to FL about being in love with her when he proposes after she got dumped. He's in love with someone else, but the woman he loves is married (to a man that cheated on her while they were just engaged, in fact. But its ok, he felt bad when she said she wanted to break up, so they're in love now and happily married). Really he was just taking advantage of FL's tragedy to gain political power. Its clear they'll eventually find mutual love, but so far FL has stronger feelings for ML, and every time she feels hope, he crushes it on purpose or otherwise. Then he gets confused that she seems distant.
EDIT: So apparently this is the sequel to a smut story called "With a Strong-willed Marchioness, Prince Yandere’s Love Offensive". The woman the ML of "I Will Never Be Chosen" is in love with, is the FL of that previous story, so I assume ML was the 2nd ML of that story.
There are way too many story that treat rejection as something unreasonable.
Keeping boundaries? They are in love (or at least one likes the other that way) what do they keep from each other.
Trying to distance yourself when you know they don't like you the way you like them? How mean of you to make others feel bad!
Trying to distance yourself because you don't like them? How dare you be like that when they like you so much!
And the victim blaming is over the chart so many times you want to slap someone

Not the 2nd ML, at least not in the manga adaptation. I'm not sure he even appeared in that at all.
I'm really tired of authors doing the fl forgive the relatives just because of family, girl, don't let that bitch of sister cling to you, see her out of your life. Don't let your family reach to you never again and the Duke? Man, are you dumb? Shut the siter down and shush her out *sighs*
FL is a better human being than any character in this story. Later everyone figures out that they themselves are scum, so there's that. ML is entitled, scummy, won't be any different until late where he acknowledges that he's scum.
If you have low tolerance for trashy characters or cruel/willfully ignorant characters, you won't like this.
If you can stomach trashy characters who become self aware that they're trash and apologize for that while understanding that they are still trash, then this might be for you.

I think it's pretty realistic. Reputation matters a lot and FL doesn't yet feel safe enough in her marriage to stop making her reputation be higher priority than her happiness. So she can't just ignore her little sister, unfortunately.
Ugh, the martyr heroine who decides how others feel or what they need without ever actually discussing with those people. God, I hate this trope. This might end up being a drop.
Dear heroine - you've been told repeatedly and have even acknowledged that you have a tendency to overthink things. Maybe stop justifying it while weeping over your tragic fate and work on fixing it.
Compared to the other manga (yandere prince), I like this story more. Yes it is more drama than romance but still, I liked it more
Ew. Ignoring her boundaries and forcing or pressuring her into physical intimacy when she says she's uncomfortable with it isn't romantic.
I really hope at some point FL tells the three of those bastards that they're all pure scum.
So unfortunately confirmed that ML doesn't actually care for FL at this point, he's literally just exploiting her tragedy for political gain.
