Torisa, mistreated by her stepmother and stepsister, lives like a servant in her own home. However, she possesses a strange and special power: she can see and pull out the metaphorical "thorns" that are stuck in people's hearts, healing their emotional wounds. One day, a mysterious young man named Shiga appears before her. He makes a unique request: "I want you to pull out the spear that was stuck in an evil dragon a thousand years ago." This wish marks the beginning of a grand journey that will dramatically change Torisa's destiny.

Okay male and female leads aside...Why is her stepmother cartoonishly evil? Why did the FL think going back was a good idea? The man offered to steal your memento take the freaking offer christ! Have no idea why authors think having the lead make an incredibly stupid decision. Is the way to go it's just dragging out something with a very vlear conclusion. Then the reader feels like thier time has been wasted and less likely to pay for more chapters.
There was enough time for FL to find a job and the ML to fall into depression, so it feels like its been more than day. But no one noticed two of the guards were missing until now?
And FL is actually braindead if she thinks she can convince her step-mother to let her leave at all, let alone with the keepsake. She really should have taken up ML on his offer to just steal it.
The step-sister instantly reformed after having the thorn removed, but the step-mom didn't react at all...so is the step-mom just inherently evil without any root cause?
So the step-mom immediately decides to throw away the entire business venture that her reputation is built on, just to shame FL, and then even starts acting like a lunatic and proclaiming she's been using a cursed power on people. She's as braindead as FL.
Uh, suddenly having a monologue in front of other people. Awkward much?
Why would she ever go back? Wouldn't the step-family just get angrier at her the longer she was gone?
Omg, this manga is too cute 🥹 I love a good action romance with a unique plotline. So excited for the next update(s)!
