Genuinely what the fuck was up with that "tea party"? Government officials lining the table so close they were probably literally touching it. They couldn't even stand 5ft away? The only way it could have been more oppressive is if they were all armed as well.
It feels like the Mouse kingdom just has no idea how to conduct diplomancy or interact with other kingdoms. Why send the "wrong" princess as a body double? Just continue talks with the Drake kingdom and tell them exactly what's going on. "You met the 3rd princess, not the second. The 3rd princess is currently engaged to the Crown Prince of the Snake kingdom, it will take some time to end that engagement and send her to you." They seem to really want her, so there's no reason to assume the Drake kingdom would freak out over having to wait a few months.
Although I'm guessing FL is the correct princess, and Drake king actually fell in love with her during the war or something. That's probably why he even bothered to come to the Mouse kingdom's festival in the first place.
