this is so dang in-depth. So be preapared to read a lot of informative small print to understand everything. I started skimming chapters after a bit, and while this is clearly very good, it's also very complex, and it's clearly not going to be ending soon. This may very well be one of those 20 book manga series, or more!
These covers don't do justice to what this story is about. I would've bet money this was some kind of erotica but it's pretty tame. Sure at the heart of it is a love story but it's also about politics, corruption, and responsibility. I get Yona of the Dawn vibes from the two leads. The princess who has to grow up fast for the sake of her kingdom and the childhood friend that's a tall and exceptionally skilled warrior. At least this princess doesn't get captured every other chapter but she still needs protecting.
