Moves very fast, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Basically runs right through their marriage in about 10 panels and to get to the divorce and about three pages after that to get to her working for him. The story knows it wants her to work as a maid for this plot so they don't waste time with 2-3 chapters of, "Will this year long marriage go smoothly? Will she accept the job?" Yes and yes, immediately.
If this were manhwa all of this would have dragged 50 chapters. Manhua would have speed run it choppy way with 2 chapters. Manga still seems to be the king of how to tell stories in drawings.
Yeah, that's one of the reasons I stopped reading Manhwa or Webtoons.
Ohhh we love to see a respectful and righteous 2nd ML. I like that we see Kris's budding feelings for Lucien. It makes the love triangle not as painful
Wait, the plan is for him to get married, immediately leave for a year, then come back and immediately divorce? Didn't he do this for his reputation, and wouldn't this make him look bad?
Love the art!! It reminds me of For Better or Worse!
who are these women?
