The Songstress’s Last Devotion
Arietti once dreamed of reaching the highest honor a songstress could attain—the title of "Miko-Hime," the Sacred Diva. But when her name is not called, her dream quietly shatters. Soon after, she’s offered a prestigious marriage arrangement with the powerful Marquess of Carving, Joshua… only for it to be abruptly called off before it even begins. Humiliated and disheartened, Arietti thinks things couldn’t get worse—until she’s ordered to serve as a priestess envoy to none other than Carving itself. Now, sent to a remote land tied to her public disgrace, Arietti must carry herself with dignity, confront her past, and discover a new strength beyond the stage.

Don’t let the reviews fool you. This is actually pretty good. Resilient FMC and a ML who was struggling to rebuild a failing territory. Not every romance has to kick off grandly. Sometimes you’re blind to people until you have a little more room to breathe in life, and that’s definitely what the ML was dealing with here.
Kiriam my ass, count my ass, dude's so ass
Kiriam and the sacred diva bitch are so meant for each other 🤣
I honestly wish she'd just fall in love with a knight. This guy isn't worth it.
That's just egoistic and luckily the FL doesn't have such a big ego. She's just doing her duty properly and focus on her passion and value.
Okay so they were trying to arrange her engagement with the marquis, it was called off so he could be with the sacred diva, she's forced to go to his land as a priestess, gets treated HORRIBLY upon arrival, and now all of a sudden he wants her? Am I the only one who would be absolutely pissed lol? Like I get his priorities were different back then but it doesn't change the fact she's been tossed around, I wish they would at least address it???
I just want one moment where the knights are teasing her, she mentions that the engagement fell through in favor of the sacred diva, and for the room to go dead silent as they realize that their lord already messed up his first chance
ML isn't exactly "earning trust" like he wanted to by letting the Diva cling to him and make him caress her face like that.
Exactly what I was thinking lol. He just makes me sick, just as much as the f*cking sacred diva
That is not exactly what happened last chapter. If you go back and look, you will see that the Diva's hands surround his and pulls it to her cheek. To pull back at that moment would have been a grave insult to her position and could create political controversy. She literally forced his hand.
I WAS BAITED SO HARD BY THE THUMBNAIL I THOUGHT THEY HAD A BABY TOGETHER 😭😭😭
ML agreed to it too? He continues to lose points in my book.
It is definitely a political move. Anger the Diva and destroy your region. He is walking a fine line.
I was really trying to read this through but I can´t anymore. The FL is decent at best and the ML is the shittiest ML I've ever seen in my entire life. He is lifeless, doesn't give the FL her place when the shitty diva arrives and is very very misleading all the time. Also the FL and ML have the love chemistry of a tomato, like she has more chemistry with any night than the ML. So yeah, I'm dropping it and I thing there are many more mangas to read in this world rather than wasting your time in this one
I don't see it as problematic, the ML is just very practical. He wanted the diva just for her voice. But when he saw how righteous and diligent the FL is, he changed and fall for her. There's no misleading here
The ML feels so dumb, like bro's tryna act nonchalant 😂. If there was no romance and only with the FL's journey it's would be much better
This one makes me think that there should be the bored/annoyed reaction as well to rate mangas
ML sucks in beginning but redeemed as it goes on, FL is great
