i came for the art and stayed for the story 😌. normally the switch up from timid to cunning doesnt make a whole lot of sense, but i'd argue that it has a place here. her internal monologue shows a certain kind of resilience that other tragic FL lack fromthe get go. it feels more as though she's intentionally holding back rather than submitting due to no other choice
(but also she had 7 years to contemplate the pre-time jump abuse. holy fffff thats a long time to endure)
