it's so weird that she just, accepts that a single chocolate got her blackout drunk *and* she wrecked a carefully prepared room while she's at it. like girl??? you were clearly drugged and framed????
Yeah, I'm willing to suspend my disbelief to a point but this is going too far. Like she didn't even NEED a reason to break the engagement, she actively wants to. Also, ignoring the fact she was framed, all it takes is two seconds to think about how she's not in trouble at all. She broke property that belongs to the Royal Family... Property that will belong TO HER in a few years if she gets married. I mean it doesn't make her look good to the royal family but I doubt they'd really care, or even saddle her with a debt. And even if they did give her a debt, SHE'S THE FUTURE QUEEN! She'd literally work it off by BEING THE QUEEN. Also within 2-3 chapters the guy (forget his name) says he saw her do it which means he accidentally admitted to seeing her destroy all these priceless heirlooms and did NOTHING. And then not long after she's kidnapped by a group of guys basically giving the same ultimatum he gave her. Like, it's not hard for her to turn the tables on him and point out how screwed he is compared to her. Like I said, the debt goes away if she becomes Queen. You know what doesn't go away? The fact that he saw priceless heirlooms being destroyed and did NOTHING. Or the fact that he, an unmarried man, stayed in a secluded room alone with the future Queen while she was incapacitated and didn't seek out the maids or anyone to help her.
It actually ruins what could've been an otherwise interesting story. Instead of forcing her to "pretend to be a villainess" due to a debt, have her want to break it off because the royal family doesn't allow pets or something. It'd be a silly reason for her not to want to join the royal family but at least it fits with her character. Or maybe make some weird misunderstanding where she thinks the prince hates dogs but actually he's just upset that anything other than him gets attention from her.
This us chaos and I love it Baahahhahaha
So, they destroyed the room and are blaming her just to be scumbags?
