All the girls blushing at getting invited as Crown Princess Candidates are too stupid to be queen. You were chosen solely because of the status of your family. The Crown Prince doesn't care about you, he probably doesn't know who you are, and he's been pretty open about being into FL. I know it won't happen, but I really hope ML makes it clear as soon as the candidates gather that they aren't competing for his love, because that love already belongs to FL, they are competing for a political position against his will and will. Of course ML is going through the stupid phase of thinking "maybe throwing her away now that I've helped her recover her self-esteem, which would surely completely shatter her, would be better than having her deal with...politics? Jealous bitches? Royal drama?"
The foreign princess really felt like she was built up for grander motivation than "Throwing a temper tantrum over being rejected by someone else and also confused about what she wants."
We're also going from the prince passionately declaring he will love no one but FL, to the announcement that there will be a competition to be his wife. Can he just repeat what he said to all the "candidates" and tell them he doesn't want them, so even if they "win" he'll only resent them.
What a useless crown prince. Story is charming but not worth continuing.
good story, fast pace arc, sometime okay sometime "tepuk dahi sbb bengong laaaaa", typical romance trope misunderstandings overall idk but a good read lololol
MY MAN! :D
Even if someone else got selected, ML could just take FML as mistress and just ignore the wife 24/7 LOL. Even though FML wouldn't want to do that.
What is even being measured in this "competition" and why can't the prince be blunt that they are competing to be his wife, not earn his love, because he has already been open in his love for FL. Quash some of their intentions right out the gate and imply they aren't earning his approval but his irritation by doing this.
That was a bomb shell. Does that mean Prince Ernest is only a place holder?
