In the kingdom where Christine lives, love marriages have become wildly popular ever since the king married a commoner. Now, even married people are encouraged to get divorced if it means finding their “fated love.” Sick of this chaotic trend, Christine agrees to a contract marriage with Leon—a stranger she happens to meet—under one condition: they will never divorce. But soon after, Christine discovers that Leon is actually the infamous “Demon Chancellor” of the kingdom! To make things even more complicated, Christine, working incognito as a plain-looking government clerk, is suddenly appointed as his exclusive aide!

Solid 6/10 I'd say. Visuals are good, world building is nice, just the "misunderstanding" trope being taken too far in my opinion. Basically she thinks she's keeping her job a secret from her husband, he knows but he hasn't explicitly told her he knows and he kissed her alter ego suddenly. Now she's jealous of her alterego but lady, if you genuinely believe he doesn't know then you just caught him cheating. It's weird because she's been pretty consistently against the love hype in this story, judging other people for cheating and thinking it's too glorified, so I kind of thought that would be a misunderstanding that makes her dislike him that he'd have to clear up on his end.
I usually don't care about the misunderstanding part, but without it the story would be way just plot heavy and boring.
There is a right balance without the whole thing going too comical or stupid.
Good lord she's an idiot, I'm looking forward to seeing her face when she realises that for herself.
Oh man, what a place to leave off at. Chapters 13 to 16 (at least; official is out to 16.3 atm) are in Leon's perspective, covering world-building via the ramifications of love supremacy. While I find this story amusing, Leon's arc is where this story gets interesting.
The 'misunderstanding' in this one depends on the FL thinking the ML has the brainpower of a concussed guppy, which he clearly does not. I'm still enjoying it but girlfriend, please.
Girl, he so obviously knows who you are and has from the start. You're the one being weird, and he's just humoring you.
glaube er weis das es seine Frau ist
Bruh how does she remember all the other details but not the one about her husband knowing everything about all the nobles, other than the fact that he stares at her at night, it would be pretty obvious for him to know his wife’s mothers maiden name and her middle name….
Irene is totally the ex fiancée of the prince
