I'm on chapter 5 so far, and it's just...do you ever read a story, and you know that the plot is good and the characters are good, but the writing is just...so blah? How do you decide whether or not to push on? The main plot with dragons and subplot with romance and (?)politics(?) has so much potential, and yet the story is...this.
UPDATE: I am now dropping this story, the setup has far surpassed what this author is capable of writing
I need Lydia to use her brain. Prince Rocky is full of shhh... 💩. She needs to understand she is there against her will. If all is so good. Why would he take you away without informing anyone? The story is brilliant 👏. I am rooting for Lord Fred to come to the rescue.
I find ML unlikeable and his switch in attitude too abrupt. ML does a 180 in the first few chapters. The explanation is there but the change in behavior is too drastic for me.
FL also just accepts mistreatment. Like girl you’re a fictional person too..
