I swear all these ML are stupid. Like at least investigate her past a little bit instead believing all these rumors. Which any noble should know that rumors aren’t alway true. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like it how FL doesn't forgive him or suddenly get random love illness after he apologies.
He was quite loud and clear with his unfair attitude, so it's quite fair that FL doesn't expect anything from him or personally like him.

He learns pretty quickly that he was wrong, (by end of chapter 3) and it doesn't seem like any more misunderstandings will come from his side and now he'll look for a way to apologize properly. But of course he can't just straight up say sorry and have a conversation because... reasons. Any reasons, I dunno, it's impossible.
Also weird thing they left out of the description. It also seems like he didn't even know she was the Prince's former fiancee. He thought she was a random woman targeting the Prince's fiancee, so either the letter just completely omitted that or he didn't even read it all.

the point was to make the prince look pitiful and the victim and her the evil villainess to everyone and anyone. The prince probably hoped she'd be mistreated

i honestly love how stubborn she's being at keeping him at arms length. it's so satisfying to an idiot who didn't bother to check the facts himself and just accepted what he was told! really satisfying
