i don’t think it’s the right of the emperor/beloved child to restrain someone else’s freedom just to amuse himself. Like she clearly has a place she wants to go, but he’s literally keeping her caged in the palace like a pet.
Okay after reading thru ch25, I still don’t particularly like him. She’s at least allowed way more freedom and to conduct research but I don’t like his attitude/personality. Our FL is just haunted by toxic MLs

I like it, it's cute. I can understand the other commentators feelings about ML, but to me his behaviour makes sense. I like how he doesn't want to let go of FL because he likes her, and not out of political necessity. FL is honestly has a bit too much of bad luck to be left alone anyway
