The count’s daughter, Lorona Ryuth, died in an accident. The news arrived the day after her fiancé, the crown prince, had broken off their engagement. Accused of the baseless crime of mistreating her younger sister, Lorona had quietly accepted the charge without protest. She was later found in an overturned carriage on a country road, her face crushed beyond recognition.Upon hearing of her death, Lorona’s younger sister rejoiced. “Now the crown prince will be mine.” The crown prince smirked. “If only she had died sooner.”But neither of them knew—Lorona’s death would bring with it not only fortune… but something far more devastating.

So far I'm enjoying this one, I'm also assuming MC is still alive and just faked her death, because that seems like the obvious trope, although it hasn't been stated explicitly so far. I always like it when the revenge is "MC leaves to live their best life, and those who wronged them collapse without MC", though I'm a little worried that the guy whose probably the ML is going to take an active revenge for her, and thus kind of make it about him instead of her.
We have the same opinion
I actually really like that the merchant gets redeemed in the end and truly feels bad for feeling joy that FL died, It adds variation to the story that you don’t often see. Don’t get me wrong, some of the characters (like the father and mother) are definitely bad people who I hope get revenge, but I like seeing forgiveness in revenge stories because they are two parts of the same revenge.
The mom seems to be legitimately insane.
Well. All fl's relatives have some mental problems)))
Sshhh, quite don't let other people found out
i love how, with the absence of ONE person, the carefree, happy lives of those who shunned her are just falling apart and it's nobody's fault but their own. there's something just so...delicious about it
Read whole thing. I was hillarious when truth was shown - it was pure coincedence that everything played right.
Ending is happy but looks a little sad as fl was shown too little and mostly by text.
And of course there exist title drop)))
And title drop at the end))
The dogs were their own doing? That's even better!
Who releases dog at most right time, lol? Two times already)))
This is so sad. Almost no one cared about her. Even maid turned out to be a shit.
thick? are you saying Lady Rorona was balding
I'm not a fan of the sister suffering from pure bad luck rather than the consequences of her own actions. It cheapens the revenge aspect. At least say something like "the carriage wasn't properly maintained because of lack of funds" or something.
