Fair warning: This might be the worse translated series in here.
Normally I don't complain. After 20 years reading different translations, I have suffered throw many and can understand a lot despite the mistakes and MTL translations being wonky... But this one is quite bad, especially chapter 8.
With how the story is going, I won’t be too surprised If the real truth is Marcus got someone else to be his wife so he wouldn’t have to marry the third princess.
The third princess has too much pride that she even entertain this truth.
So all I got from this chapter is that he wanted to marry her because he's her stalker? It wasn't actually established that they'd had any interaction in the past, just that he "watched her".
The translation is really confusing, but the story is pleasant enough to read

For once I'd like a story where the MC does actually marry an old man, but rather than something terrible, it's just a nice old guy that has no children to pass his possessions to and simply wants a bit of company before he dies so he chooses to marry a kind abused woman so that she'll inherit his wealth and power and can live a good life after he's gone.
