Also, some people do wear matching necklaces, or wedding rings, or even get a tattoo of their partner's name.

In my culture too, married women wear a mangalsutra (a necklace with small black beads) which is supposed to protect the couple from negative influences and evil energies.

I do mean that it is wrong to force anyone to wear anything, but if the other person agrees, what wrong with wearing these?
