The "romance" feels even more forced than the synopsis of "FL sees a vision that says she has to get knocked up by ML to save the kingdom" makes it sound. ML and FL have known each other since they were kids, and they're sort of in a childhood friend situation, but literally since their first meeting ML has been insulting and belittling FL. He secretly loves her (which plenty of people seem to have worked out) despite him only being an asshole to her. When they finally bang FL literally has the thought "He was always mean...but only to me" right in the middle of sex. He's such an asshole in fact, that the first thing we see of their dynamic in chapter 1 is ML showing up to a party he wasn't invited to, a party that is only for ladies, just so he can make fun of FL for saying she wants to have a love marriage. And why does he love FL? When he was young his mother died, and FL reached out to him in a very kind and empathic manner which ML completely shit all over. ML doesn't even reflect on or regret his behavior, he seems to think there's absolutely nothing wrong with constantly insulting and publicly humiliating the woman he loves.
On the other end, FL likes ML but doesn't admit it to herself. Why does she like ML? Who the fuck knows, because there is not a single reason she should even want to see his face if not for the magical visions. FL has a cousin who knows how both ML and FL feel for each other, and I cannot fathom why she ships them, given she is extremely close to and cares for FL.
Not a fan of the plot, the character dynamics, or the character's themselves in this one.
In this chapter the both talk about FL changing the future but...that's not what she's trying to do though? She's literally trying to make sure the future doesn't change.
Also interesting that we get to see FL's own thought "He was always mean...but only to me" right in the middle of the sex scene like the author wants to make sure the reader remembers that ML is just kind of an asshole to FL for literally no reason.

That last page...I worry about FL if that's where her collarbone is.
So it's going to be a situation of "he's always secretly likes her, and that's why he's been insulting her since the day they met. He'll even show up uninvited to parties just to belittle her" is it?
i honestly rather like this. it's enjoyable. they're two dummies who have known each other for ages, and one just happens to be a guy who thinks the girl he loves hates him so he's never bothered to admit to being in love with her. It's like the old saying goes, boys pick on the girls they like. it's not always true, but it feels true in this sense, that's for sure.
