I think I like it, but I don't like the amount of times she's gotten assaulted :(((.
I feel like the prince should at least give her training on how to defend herself. Maybe even give her a gun since those exist in this world.

So either Prince Galfion is the biggest idiot ever known, or this is an incredibly stupid forgery.
This chapter just makes FL look like an idiot. Acting as bait for a mission where she's actually being shadowed by guards is one thing, suddenly deciding that as a secretary you should suddenly assign yourself a spy mission then wander into danger is a completely different thing. She was literally talking to her spy coworkers when she decided to do an infiltration mission no one else knows about by herself.
As soon as she realized the situation was threatening, she should have simply "agreed". He's obviously not reliable, but he's at least claiming that he wouldn't have hurt the other two candidates if they agreed to break the engagement. She can always tell ML she was threatened later.
But also, any halfway decent investigation would place him as the culprit to her disappearance. They were in public together, in uniform, before this.
The first page intro keeps saying his the third prince, but the dialogue in the chapter keeps saying that he’s the crown prince, I’m getting really confused.
So I'm guessing the friend wants to be a heroine from a romance novel...but instead she's acting like a villainess.
I believe it’s her previous fiancé who was having an affair with her ex-best friend.
Set best friend tried to villainize her before Prince Alfred stepped in.
