A Thousand Nights, A Thousand Food Stories ~I'm a Princess from a Defeated Country, but His Highness the Ice Prince Dotes on Me
Elendira, a princess despised because her mother was a slave, is persecuted by her half-siblings and ultimately killed. At the moment of her death, she remembers her past life as a Japanese person. Swearing revenge, her fate changes completely when the neighboring empire of Agdnigul invades. Using the "cooking" knowledge from her previous life to survive, she strikes a deal to save her people: she must prepare a thousand dishes for a thousand nights for the emperor. This is the story of a reincarnated Cinderella who uses culinary skills to navigate her new life, capturing the attention of a handsome knight and the emperor himself, and earning the unexpected doting affection of the cold crown prince, Yashubal.

Good as of ch5. FL - 7 yo princess, mom was slave so horribly abused by everyone
ML - knight and prince of neighboring powerful kingdom Ag. Picks up FL because she's a child freezing to death in the snow and later wants to be her guardian
FL's kingdom picks a fight with powerful kingdom, gets stomped. ML saves FL during invasion. Empress of Ag (ML's mom) is executing royal family for being useless, FL makes pudding to show she's useful and is going to be enslaved instead of killed. ML says he'll marry her, and eventually Empress says if she's satisified with 1000 dishes, FL can marry ML.
No romance now (ML just wants FL to grow up well), not sure how I'd feel if it did happen. There's also something with the Empress that could go into parenting/friendship
I don't think you call guardian/father as ML.
This can be simply childcare story.
So far, we have two regressors from modern day Japan. I'm sensing maybe there will be more. Very interesting!
I don’t know why they keep blaming her for actions to the country when she is a child, despite being a princess, she had no political power, nor to do the actions the other royal families did, and they saw firsthand how she was treated by her family members, and still wished to blame her. At this point, it’s even surprising she’s trying to spare the rest of the country.
Hmm, accepted reason... for now... 🫵👀👀
Let him keep talking...🫵
Does the FL actually get married to the ice prince in the end or..😰? Cause if they do, I’m dropping this😭
