Merciless...more like gluttonous duke. All he thinks of is food. Hes like fenrir from campfire cooking
Is there any sign of the wicked maid leaving the mansion, or is she squatting in some unused room, ready to mess up things again?
"I wonder what their relationship is?"
Someone dressed as a maid is delivering food to a nobleman. Geez, I wonder what their connection could be. If only there were any context clues.
Man, lots of thoughts on this chapter.
- Her cooking is so obviously magical that everyone should have figured it out in-universe. She instantly cures chronic illnesses with a meal! That's better than a doctor could do.
- Less obvious in-universe, her cooking seems to give or enhance magical power, but seems like it doesn't last long if her sister is already weakening after what, a few days?
- So it looks like the saboteur maid escaped and went back to FL's family's house. This also means that they very very clearly intentionally sent someone into the Duke's house to sabotage and destroy it, including tampering with his food. I'm pretty sure there should be massive consequences for that, as they've basically declared war on him.
- The fenrir is magical, so that's probably the excuse but...that meal FL made is straight up poison to dogs and wolves. Spicy foods, garlic, and green onions are all bad to dangerous for them.
The names feels like jumbo words written on paper, thrown into a jar and then picked out.
After i read 6 chap I droped this. I don't wanna to read even if was free and with ideal translation. That so stupid. I even remade legendary quote a little to show my feeling for how this fictional world and charcters works:
"Mr. Author of this manga, what you've just write is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone who read this is now dumber for having wathching to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
For those who wonder - maid that destroyed food supply and kitchen wasn't punished, fl's household wasn't even quiestioned (forget even about complain to them), and when fl meet that maid whose now fired (cause ML didn't fire FL) that bitch try to shame FL and trhew tomatos at her, and FL don't give a f*ck.

If you had problem with burning people alive you should have frozen them to death
So the classic - real saint was always the neglected child which power by some mean was partly transferd to bitchy child?)))
ML is willing to kick out chefs who don't cook to his level of quality, but sits back and doesn't lift a finger to punish the maid who purposely destroys his property...
