Dude was not nearly suspicious enough in his first life if he didn't consider a conspiracy after the butler (who knew he was in love with and devoted to someone) was giving gifts to ladies in his name, and everyone in his hometown was responding off of a poorly written script.
It's been 5 years since I read this (and the old manga groups never finished through). I hope I can finally read the ending...
Why do these girls competing to be saint keep on yelling about holy powers being creepy? First FL's powers, and now her holy tree being resistant to damage.
Prince: "I think we need to actually fully talk out what happened, because there might have been a misunderstanding."
Priest: "Looks like you guys are done talking, even though you've barely even started the conversation. You called her out just to speak for 10 seconds, right?"
Prince: "I guess I did."
Also, the ring was a rusty gold? Gold can't rust or tarnish.
...so why was he asking random people on the street if they'd seen his invisible key?
Read this story a long time ago on another website, was never fully translated but I enjoyed it enough back there. Basic regression story, misunderstandings, betrayal, etc. Does something interesting with the reincarnation though. Spoilers below.
So FL and ML are both reincarnations but it seems like they're pretty much distinctive new people with similar personalities to their past and just have the memories of the past lives. Both of them talk about their past lives as memories of different people, like talking about what your ancestor did. They both clear up their misunderstanding by chapter 6 and it alleviates a lot of the guilt from the ML but they both still feel really hurt. Try as hard as they might to say "it was a past life," it still haunts them, and now it's literally haunting them with a third character who's also a reincarnation and honestly feels weirdly thrown in. Like the FL and ML have a clear bond and a reason to reincarnate together, the third reincarnator is clearly just there to be an antagonist and I honestly don't get his motives in the present.
