Why was ML riding around on a horse beneath the balcony during a party?
I THOUGHT THE SAME THING!! I thought he was, like, gonna reveal that she had died like that in the first timeline, so he went back in time to save her. Nope. Normal shojo dialogue after that wtf-ery.
Poor Kai, getting dragged around by the ML and FL's total failure to communicate. All he wanted was to avoid teenage romance drama, and they go and drag him right into the middle of it all.

Maids in a noble household are long term live in positions, so what value is brought by a paying a middle man to hand over their wages to them? Sure I can see value in an employment agency that just makes it easy for a household to find new maids to employ, but I can't think of a reason for them to continue being involved long term. It also creates a situation where it weakens loyalty to the noble household, which is probably bad for them. I thought they were going to turn it into a spying/sabotage thing.

Chapters 4 and 6 were the best ones, in my opinion...and by that I mean they never caused me to cringe. Most of these read like a high schooler's attempt at creative writing (and I say that as someone who did a lot of creative writing in high school). It's a shame about Chapter 8 -- the storytelling is high-quality, but the whole plot hinges on two people just...not having a conversation. I want the writer to try their hand at something more meaty. #JusticeForKai
