This is one of those anthology series where there just isn't enough space to tell the stories the mangaka are trying to tell, so they feel half-baked at best, and downright bizarre at worst.
You just described all anthology series. Every single one of them is like that. I still don't understand why people love these.
This one is so goddamn stupid. "I forgot I was in love with you, so the whole slander and framing me for crimes was definitely and acting real creepy is ok and for my own good. Let's get married."
huh?? that can't be it??? i thought she was supposed to be the prince's fiancee and him the prince's aide?? i know the prince is consorting with milia at the side but this can't be allowed?? and is that the end??? i'm so confused
I just think she’s the villainess or a contender to be the prince’s fiancé but it never explicitly says she’s his fiancé, so I think we’re in the clear.
This one is pretty good. The random reincarnation throwaway plot point was unnecessary. I like how the ending didn't magically have every future problem fixed; no perfect comeback, no beautification, and no escape from time restraints.
what sort of story is this? i think the author was trying to add some psychological elements but bc the story is so short it come across as nonsense instead
overall review:
ch 1: art is so pretty and cute. storyline could be good but it kind of ended out of nowhere?? i'm so confused, like that can't be the ending.
ch 2: just nonsense. i guess it could be good if it's fleshed out more, but it's a short story so it just didn't work out.
ch 3: kiiind of cute, but also too short
ch 4: has the most compelling storyline out of every chapter so far, but that's not really saying a lot. pretty nice.
ch 5: cute. but again, it fell to the short story curse, so the conflict resolution just kind of ended out of nowhere. like well, that just happened.
oh this one is better than the rest
Cute with a unique art style
