I can't even get past the first chapter.
We have a 9 year old the size of a full grown man, who was perfectly content to let the FL choose her own path in life.
But only up until she became useful to him, at which point he literally tells her to "give up and let him kidnap her"...

There is no Romance here. Don´t worry about what the others are saying. This is a prequel and the story is really good and even in the original story (which is after this one) there is no Romance.

It's bad enough that we get this giant backdrop of her being blind and isolated for her own good because of it, but her being at peace with it made it all the worse when she just suddenly cured herself out of fucking nowhere. Would have been unique if she went the entire story blind.... but then this other thing ruins it anyway...
