This story doesn't properly sell how absolutely confused the ex should have been. He sells his fiance to a foreign brothel, and then the next thing he knows she's the queen of a kingdom with a surging brothel-based economy. His brain should have simply imploded.

How long was the king gone!?! While he was gone the 1st prince was framed and driven out, ran into FL, recovered from his injuries, became a servant and worked his way up to Butler, FL got framed and exiled, and FL and the 1st prince became monster hunters and then worked their way up to top tier hunters. Was the king gone for a few years?

Ahhh, it would've been better if they showed us those 2 leaving together as that place plunged into chaos when they realized that the mark on the priestess disappeared and where it should appear is on the temporary priestess that they just murdered! I want that place to be rained upon for days with typhoon and such, make them suffer for their stupidity and that's when those 2 comes back to restore order...😤

Chapter 1 is presumably based on the book “Graceling” by Kristin Cashore. Magic gifts are called “Graces,” and the main character has a “grace of killing.” She’s a Princess who is actually treated as the royal family’s hunting dog, torturer, and executioner if I remember correctly. Haven’t read it in a while, but it’s very good.
There are apparently five books in the series, different leads. If you’re willing to read novels, these have my stamp of approval as a writer.
