I don’t know how well they’re going to handle this, if at all. I wonder if it’s going to be handwaved away with the FL saying “well, I wasn’t that nice either” and “I played a role in the situation too”. Attempted murder and kidnapping IS bad, but that’s what prison is for. She should go to trial for what she did, not get vigilante murdered once the situation has actually DE-escalated.
