The Decorative Wife Wants a Divorce from Her Cold Husband! — I Had No Idea He Actually Loved Me
This anthology series collects heartwarming, pure love stories that all begin with a contract or arranged marriage between a wife who feels like a mere "figurehead" and a husband perceived as cold and distant. Each self-contained story follows a similar pattern: the wife, believing the marriage is loveless and that her husband despises or is indifferent to her, decides she can't take it anymore and asks for a divorce. To her shock, this act reveals her husband's true feelings—he has actually been deeply in love with her all along.

Yay! Another Anthology! I really like the format. Quick to read when on the go and during lunch or breaks. They are mostly very cute. Even if the stories aren't groundbreaking or complicated, most are fun.
I think this is the one I dislike the most from the anthology so far.
Notice once things are "better" we still don't see anything about FL being barred from meeting her childhood friend? It doesn't say anything about ML stopping the whole micromanaging her entire life thing at all. Kind of feels like it just went "actually, abusive control is good if he gives kisses".
Also its pretty wild of the merchant to go "Her husband is abusing her to the point that she wants to kill herself? I know what she needs, a truth serum." Even in the wildly outside chance that "being honest" would stop her abuse, one would think she'd just poison herself alone in her room, at which point she won't be revealing any truths to anyone. Obviously he just wanted to scam her of all that money (otherwise he would have just refused), but its crazy that the story frames it like he's being some wise helpful person.
Lame guy
Ahhhhh this definitely needs to get a full series
Seconded. I almost burst out laughing when she told him his flirting game was "too weak" lol
love this story out of the anthology... but my guy, our girl has been holding back for 5 YEARS. You need to do better than slammimg your head on the floor
Points for him just coming out and declaring he's in love with her and past him was an idiot. Minus way more points for it taking five fucking years.
Good anthology, read up to chapter 6, all pretty solid. I think 5 is the best, it has the most potential to work as a multi-chapter misunderstanding/redemption manga. 4 Feels like the one shot summary of a story that's much longer than a one shot, which isn't to say that it's bad just that I genuinely would've liked more of it and a slower pace for more build up. 6 definitely has the most fun with their character designs and circumstances. Think I wanna follow more of the apothecary in that one.
Chapter 21 was actually really sweet.🥹❤️
If that apothecary had really given her the poison, ML would be seeing FL kill herself in front of him because of his cold and controlling behaviour.
Of course the one you wish was longer is the short one 😆
I LOVE anthology comics! They're short and cute, and play on tropes in a fun way the only one I found kinda boring was ch 2, but ch 5 was adorable and ch 6 was the funniest for me! My fav anthology series is the yandere one but this is a solid 2nd place very entertaining.
What's the yandere one?
I really didn't like 20 because that's not how the real world works. 21 was very sweet although that's a bit of a long fuse.
Wait...so in the original story the mom was condemned for cursing people...but she didn't actually have curse powers?
I LOVE anthologies, these ones too, but if you think critically every ml in these works are absolute trash
"House Klangfarbe", truly one of the names of all time.
Ch 14 was so good.
The hell!?
Chapters 12 and 13 are surprisingly good.
Very cute
