One moment, Natasha realizes she has been reincarnated into the body of the “villainous noblewoman” in a novel. According to the script of the novel, she is supposed to be broken off from her fiancé and sold into a brothel. But rather than despair, she decides: “If I must go to a brothel, then I’ll become a high-class courtesan!”She works on her manners, education, and arts — only “experience” remains. Then in the brothel she’s sent to, the master awaits her… with nightly lessons of a very seductive kind! A story of reversal, ambition, self-reinvention, and unexpected romance.

How on earth has no one explained to the girl who was told she was being sold to a brothel, that she is not, in fact, being sold to a brothel. That is literally the first thing that should have been done, even before the carriage left the Academy.
It's truly charming.
In the same way that a 13-year-old writer's first work is charming.
FL doesn't even try; from the start, all her actions lead to learn how to quickly and efficiently make the sausages of old noblemen dry.
To everyone around her, she appears as an incredibly talented, beautiful maiden, except, of course, her fiancé (he hates her because of reasons) and, of course, except the readers, because she's portrayed as an idiot without any will of her own, because... sausages.
Can't wait for future development!
Girl has 8 years to come up with a plan to avoid her fate (and her dad straight up asked her if she was actually ok with the engagement), but immediately starts planning out her life as a courtesan instead? You can't fool me, she wants to be a sex worker.
This is fucking retarded, why does she want to be a hooker? She reincarnated into a primitive medieval world and instead of inventing shit to make herself rich... she becomes a hooker. WHY? What the fuck is the author on? Why the fuck did the novel get popular enough to get a manga?
This is genuinely retarded brain rot
I kind of get how we ended up here, but also what.
Need money? Fair. Going against the royal family? Not a great idea. Politics are a whirlwind of their own. Becoming a courtesan? Eh. You have an income, stable housing, and influence when you get more exposure. If you get labeled as the party "at fault" by popular opinion, it could damage family image and future prospects.
On the other hand. Because the prince made himself look like a total lover, I think enough public pressure could be applied for consequences. Throw the guy off his horse and tell him to try again when he's become 4 years old at least. Get compensation for the broken engagement and any other stipulations.
Except. This. She's not got the most common sense, but dude. Really? Just because you're jelly and bitter, you're going to let her believe that she's working to get customers? At least she's being straightforward. Dude just going to dawdle around and take his time? Calm down bro. Stop treating her like a foal. She may be a bit behind with the situation but how can she know if no one tells her?
End long winded thought. Apologies.
Chapter 1 sure makes it sound like she just really wants to be a sex worker, what with her having 8 years to avoid her fate and instead immediately planning out her life in a brothel sleeping with older men. But in chapter 2 we learn that her first life ended with a wasting disease, and that left her so absurdly fatalistic that she doesn't even want to fight fate. Its very weird.
Oh, and she does not in fact get sent to a brothel, but she is still dense enough to think that she is and mistakes someone's estate who is hosting her as a reclusive high class brothel.
