Chapter 25 is the wrong series. 😭😭😭😭
I'm guessing this is a villainess story from the perspective of the ML. FL here knows everything about him because she read the book, and she's trying to keep distance because she knows she's the "villainess" (the crows stuff gives big witch vibes) and that he'll "meet the Heroine and fall in love".
Ok, so we've been led to believe that he loved someone else and dumped her, but the truth is she always trusted her horrible family over him, and then yelled at the top of her lungs about she would never ever marry him when he was clearly right behind her (as evidenced by him showing up moments later). Yet she never considered she was the one that rejected him, not vice versa.
The only real twist in this story is that the ML is the POV, otherwise this is a very by-the-book wish fulfilment shoujo. No particular flaw here. Just a stereotypical story
