The Thousand-Year Bride
Chitose is the youngest daughter of a prestigious family known for its fertility and spiritual abilities. Kind-hearted and gifted, she should have had a bright future, but her jealous older sister curses her, turning her into the body of an elderly woman and destroying her prospects for marriage. Believing she can never have the family she dreamed of, Chitose quietly accepts her fate until she meets Kotarō, a mysterious nobleman with oni blood. He offers to marry her, and she soon becomes the mother of his three adopted oni children. Although the children initially distrust humans, Chitose's warmth and compassion gradually earn their love. As she builds a new family with Kotarō, she also confronts the people who ruined her life, uncovering long-hidden secrets and proving that true beauty comes from the heart rather than appearance.
