The first two chapters set a really interesting tone for FL. She's in a bad situation, no allies, she isn't loved by anyone, and she isn't anyone with real talent. She decides she'll run away from her garbage family, and what she does have is years of study to overcome her lack of talent, and memories of being a Japanese woman that ran away from her shitty family. She recognizes that this is a world where things aren't safe for women on their own, its not a magical fantasy world, its just a grim realistic one. Its likely going to be a dangerous and difficult road ahead of herself, and she steels herself for that.
If you are expecting any of that tone to inform the story, your going to be sorely disappointed, because chapter 3 completely throws it away with an incredibly silly deus ex machina that breaks the setting and literally just makes no sense.

SHE SUDDENLY FINDS A MAGICAL ITEM IN HER ROOM FROM HER FAVORITE VIDEO GAME WITH HER NAME LITERALLY CARVED INTO IT THAT TURNS HER INTO AN UNSTOPPABLE WIZARD! THE SETTING HAS NO MAGIC, BUT SHE TURNS INTO A WIZARD, GETS AN ITEM BOX PRE-LOADED WITH OTHER MAGIC ITEMS, ETC. ALL OF THE STORY'S TENSION IS TOSSED OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE SHE'S A FUCKING WIZARD NOW.
The author makes a whole thing about her character being a assassin but then goes well your a wizard now ! lol with stealth skills. The artwork is neat tho
Seems promising so far! Honestly, the cover and art style caught my eye first. I like the MC especially, I feel like her design's a bit more on the unique side (esp with the big eyebrows), though the presumed ML seems a bit general to me rn (design-wise! The couple times he seems to grin make me curious about his actual personality honestly) \(￣▽￣)/ storywise, i like the beginning so far, esp how we really get to dwelve into MC's thoughts and feelings before her memories returned, as well as after. Not sure where tge story will go from here, but I'm looking forward to it!

It's quite good.... but, uh, the sudden appearance of that cheat kinda bothers me. She is basically quite op for that world, with her magic and skills
