Unless someone explains to FL what happened in chapter 2.5 with the butler going rogue and deciding to murder her, the dad's little speech just makes him sound like an abuser. He neglected her for her entire life, and then (from her perspective) had her confined without water for days until she nearly died, but now as soon as she stops fighting for his attention and love he starts saying he loves her and never meant her harm?

I prefer to read this from the interpretation of the new Isabelle not actually being a transmigrator, but just having been so mentally damaged that she dissociated and imagined a whole new person occupying her body, like a split personality.

I love the constant reminder that the person everybody thinks she is is already dead, but I know with 100% certainty that it will never actually be brought up and she'll live pretending to be Isabella her entire life, or there'll be the same old stupid twist of 'Oh, you were really Isabella all along.'

I don't like him as the male lead because all he did during the duration of them knowing each other is act cold, rude and annoyed with her. Tsundere is a thing but Isabella was emotionally starved that his behavior would make anyone believe he hated her. The roundabout way of him wanting his feelings known was detrimental to her and that annoys me.

Sure he wanted to wait but it would've been better if he advised her as a friend instead of just watching her making a fool out of herself and then start acting sweet when she says she doesn't like him anymore
