can you imagine yourself falling in love with someone who was behind your imprisonment and execution?
Yeah I hate when mangas turn in this direction. Even if it's in a different life, if you remember someone hurting you to the point you ended up dead, why would you choose romance with them?? It honestly feels gross.

In response to the comments who dislike the choice of ML:
- He's the only noble who never commented on her lack of magic, he never speaks ill of her
- That's the law he has to follow, to me it's like blaming a police officer for arresting you for a crime you were guilty of committing
He didn't say anything when that guy behind him said how pathetic she was for thinking she could be a noble with no magic.
I would like to note that there is indeed a significant portion of the population that likes to blame the justice system for convicting them when they commit a crime. XDD

I honestly don't like stories like this because if your personality and actions were genuinely rancid enough that you were justifiably executed, your personality will just magically change when you go back in time? I've seen a few stories that threaded the needle well on that, with the villainess being more circumspect and trying to avoid what led to her death, while not radically changing her personality but it's rare. Mostly they suddenly turn into amazingly good people and it seems completely off.
Then on the other hand, if she did NOT deserve to be executed, how the hell can she get feelings for this man? The only time that scenario might make sense is if mind control is involved. Basically, I don't like this type of story much.
I give a bit of leeway because how many of us have been shown the error of our ways by having our heads literally cut off. I'm assuming that having your head cut off is a bit of a wake up call to "maybe I should change" that most of us will never experience.

The parents neglected her and didn't show her any affection because...they saw she was trying really hard to live up to expectations they (secretly) didn't have for her? Literally none of this would have happened if either of her parents had just said "We love you no matter what. Its ok for you to not have magic."
If all they do is check for magic, how did she make it past this step in her past life?

The mother was perfectly fine standing by the door. Why did she have to go and drag her back? Idk about you lot, but after waking up after being executed like that, one should've been emotionally exhausted. Who can still handle such drama?
