Neko to Otoko no Ko to Sono Chichioya o Kaimashita.
Koa, a 39-year-old single woman, spent years caring for her sick mother before realizing that her own youth had quietly passed by. Without hobbies, passions, or anyone special in her life, she fears growing older alone. Then one day, she unexpectedly ends up taking care of the handsome new company president’s young son — along with their pet cat. What begins as a temporary arrangement slowly fills her quiet life with warmth, laughter, and emotional connection. As she bonds with the lonely child, the aloof father, and the cat that ties them together, feelings of love and the possibility of becoming a family begin to emerge.

Nah the kid should have apologised.
What do you mean it's her fault she was dumped just because she wanted to stay closer to her dying mother and developed no hobbies due to being too busy for one? Her mother was feeling bad because she felt like a burden so she let her leave, her ex couldn't handle it so he left, she had no friends because it takes time to maintain friendships and she clearly didn't have that but she stayed strong! Maybe she did need to get new hobbies and all that since with the way she was going she would have ended up with no reasons to live when she doesn't need to take care of her mother anymore but that was handled terribly. The dad should teach the kid some manners and I find it disgusting that all her efforts were disregarded and the kid's rudeness was brushed off like it was nothing.
Sorry for the rant, have a nice day.
