Amelia is a plain attendant who admires the Marquis' daughter, Sophie. One day, Sophie's engagement to the crown prince is endangered by a tryst with another woman. In a desperate attempt to prevent the trouble from consuming Sophie (and turning her into a villainess), Amelia devises a plan. She will give Sophie love lessons to help her get close to the second prince. As she works to support Sophie from the shadows, she catches the attention of Sophie's tsundere younger brother, Rufus.
